Homecoming week...The biggest event of the year. Over 1,300 students, all dressing up for themes each day of the week, leading up to the homecoming dance. Each day of the week, the students had a different theme for spirit dress. On Day 1, Disney was the theme of the day with everyone dressing up as their favorite characters from their childhood. Large groups getting together re-creating characters like the Seven Dwarfs was a big hit. Day 2 was Color it Out day with every class being represented by a different color, competing to see which class has the most participants showing their school spirit. Day 3--Decades day--everyone’s favorite blast to the past, a flashback to the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and the 90’s, a compilation of everyone’s favorite actors and movies from the past was by-far the most outrageous day. The week concluded with blue and gold day, from spirit shirts to school jerseys, everyone takes a day to represent their school pride. A pep rally Friday afternoon prepared everyone for the homecoming game where our homecoming queen will be announced. The week concludes with the homecoming dance Saturday night to finish off another successful homecoming week.
